Upfest 2012- Pull Better late than never

I've just noticed I never posted the piece I did at Upfest back in June, oops. I'll get the hang of blogging one day, probably won't be a Monday tho.

Half Cut Exhibition

Thanks to the Upfest Gallery for hosting “Half Cut” Exhibition featuring myself, AP and Matti here in my hometown of Bristol.

Morning All :-)

I realise a Blog update is long overdue- 

I never seem to find the time which is the worst excuse in the world, so here goes. Well I had a successful Upfest back at the beginning of June I had a great time on the Saturday, I painted next to Snik, Guy Denning and the Essex Rockerz so I was very happy to be alongside the “best of the best”. I painted this image at just over 2.5 metres wide probably the biggest and certainly the most detailed stencil to-date. I didn’t get to see some of the other guys painting so as usual had to look at snaps taken by the masses of keen photographers who were there. Props go out to MykGarton for an exceptional set of photos on his Flickr site.

I was also asked to paint an image of the Queen sat in the Upfest train- the most amazing live train paint job you’ve seen here's the timelapse video.

I’ve been asked to take some work to a gallery in Amsterdam (which I’ve now done) and I’ve been invited to a group show at the beginning of September. There’s also a new release scheduled for this month of one of my prints, commissioned through Epoch Gallery.

It never rains but it pours

Evening all, yet again I've forgotten how long it was since I updated this blog... a long time ago and for that all i can say is I've been a bit busy away from the laptop. No excuse but its the truth so here goes an attempt at an update over the next few days.


All went well at Mindshare, Tarantino and Hitchcock have gone down a storm so they've commissioned me to go back this year and paint 4 more walls so watch this space for updates. I'm painting 2 pieces in March and the others at a date TBC

Express Delivery to the Wilder Gallery

VW Nice Ghia!

I've been working on incorporating the VW logo in a design- more retro work! I guess I'm just in that mood. I love the classic lines of the Karmann Ghia Cabrio so here's the end result.

New Print released for Upfest'10 - Champion

Upfest'10 Full Event Line-up Released

I'll be spraying at this years Upfest in Bristol. Hope you can come along. More than just Europe’s biggest urban and street art festival, Upfest has announced the broad range of events taking part at the two-day festival in Bristol.

As in previous years, the festival will be centred on live painting at the Tobacco Factory on 5th and 6th of June. Over 200 urban artists and illustrators will be painting live over the weekend, with 50 artists having come from around the world to be a part of the event. The artists will be mixing it up with this year’s MashUP theme, with some very special collaborations due to take place.

Saturday, the festival will be in full swing at the Tobacco Factory (North Street, BS3 1TF). From 11am, over 200 urban artists and illustrators will be painting live. Visitors to the free event are also invited to take part in the painting, with a children’s painting area and the Kiss101 Give It a Go painting boards.

The Tobacco Factory will also host a Very Affordable Art Sale and dedicated print room, where original artwork and prints by the artists painting at the festival will be available for sale at bargain prices. There will also be badge making, clothing, and art material stalls around the venue.

Throughout the weekend, DJs, beatboxers, hip hop groups and MCs will take to two stages at the Tobacco Factory (full schedule attached). Along with music, the world renowned Kompany Malakhi will host dance workshops on Saturday.
